Junior Golf Full Day Camp

Full day camp combines both the fundamentals of golf instruction and on course skills training guided by our talented teaching staff. The camp is designed to improve junior golfers of all skill levels as we combine practice with a variety of interactive activities and skills challenges each day. Up to five hours each day will be spent on instruction covering all the fundamental aspects of the golf game; full swing, woods, putting and chipping. Students will also spend time on the course each week with an instructor learning various other components to the game of golf, including: rules, etiquette, strategy, and course management.

Junior Golf Half Day Camp                
$325 / Week*

Half day camps focus on the fundamentals of golf including instruction in full swing, woods, putting and chipping. Basic rules and etiquette will also be covered. For up to three hours each day we combine practice with interactive activities and skills challenges so the juniors enjoy golf and see it as a life time sport. Each student will be given information to help improve their skills. Please note: On course time is limited as the golf course may be closed on a Monday or Tuesday for outings or maintenance and the course is most often available to campers in the afternoons.

Junior Golf Early Care
$12 Daily

Full day and Half day campers may be dropped off up to one hour prior to the start of camp. Campers can spend a little extra time in the morning at the Learning Center putting on the green around the building, hitting shots out of the bunker, or hitting a few balls at the range during this hour.

Junior Golf Camp Pricing

Eric MacCluen encourages every Junior to sign up for Full Day camp so that your child may enjoy the complete golf camp experience. The unpredictable summer weather, the availability of particular practice areas around the facility, and the varying course schedule will determine daily activities so that each day offers a different opportunity to learn and get better.

• Member Rate: The discounted member rate is for Applecross members only. To be eligible for the member rate, you are required to provide an active and verifiable Applecross account number on the registration form. In addition, the child must either reside full time in the Applecross community, be immediate family of the Adult member with a social/ golf membership (their parent/ legal guardian), be included on an Adult member's social/ golf membership if not immediate family, or have a Junior membership. Grandchildren and nieces/ nephews are typically not eligible under these guidelines and should not receive the Member rate for golf camp.
  
  
• Sibling Rate: The discounted sibling rate applies to each additional child from the same family registering for Full Day camp during the same camp week. The first child is charged the regular weekly rate for the week.
  
  
• Multiple Week Rate: Juniors must register for two or more Full Day Camp weeks and pay in full to qualify for the multiple week discount rate for each week. You may add weeks later in the season at the multiple week rate, however, only the additional weeks will qualify for the discount rate at that time.
  
  
• Only one discount may be deducted per child per week from the "Cash/Check Discount Pricing" posted. Therefore, additional discounts or coupons may not be combined with the already discounted Full Day Camp's early registration, sibling or multiple week rates listed below.
  
  
• Half Day Rate: Sibling or multiple week discounts are NOT available for Half Day camps.
  
  
• Extended Care: Early Care is to paid in advance with the original registration but may be added prior to the Thursday 4pm registration deadline for the participating week. After Care is no longer available due to recent renovations.
  

Cancellation/ Refund Policy:

All requests for cancellation of summer camp registration must be submitted in writing a minimum of one week (7 days) prior to the start of the registered camp week via e-mail to: hollymaccluen@yahoo.com. No cash refunds will be given under any circumstance. All monies paid, less the non-refundable registration fee ($75 Full Day or $50 Half Day) per each week of camp cancelled, will be issued in the form of tuition credit, NO EXCEPTIONS! Example: Full Day Guest Rate $470 - $75 Registration Fee = $395 Tuition Credit issued.

The tuition credit can be used toward any program currently offered by the Applecross Golf Academy including private lessons with Eric MacCluen. Tuition Credit must be used by the end of the calendar year unless otherwise agreed upon. No refund or credit of any kind will be given if cancellation is submitted within one week of the start of the registered camp week, regardless of the nature of cancellation, as we may not be able to fill the vacated spot in the remaining time.

Rescheduling Policy:

We ask that you make every effort to attend your registered camp week/ days as scheduled since we have a limited number of spots available each week and provide staff according to the number of students expected to attend. Therefore, please schedule doctor appointments, vacation plans and other activities accordingly.

Each camp day is a building process and a commitment to your child's attendance will make a difference with their progress. The unpredictable summer weather, the availability of particular practice areas around the facility, and the varying course tee times scheduled each day will determine daily activities so that every day offers a different and unique opportunity in learning to play golf. Thus, Tuesday camp activities of week #1 may be a very different experience from that of week #2, etc.

Unforeseen issues may arise, and your earliest communication is expected for rescheduling. If you are unable to attend a scheduled camp week or individual day you must notify Eric MacCluen Golf in writing via e-mail to: hollymaccluen@yahoo.com. When rescheduling a full week, a minimum of one week's notice prior to the registered camp week is required so we may have an opportunity to fill the vacated spot for that week. In addition, 24 hours' notice prior to missing a camp day is requested to reschedule the camp day and at the very latest, notification must be received no later than 1 hour before the start of the camp day (by 8:00 am) for rescheduling to be considered for sudden illness . A missed camp week or day without the appropriate prior written notification will be considered UNEXCUSED and may be forfeited, regardless of the nature for not attending. However, with the proper advanced written notification we will make every effort to reschedule a missed week or day at a suitable time for both parties.

A $25 administration fee applies to each rescheduled week or a $5 fee applies to each rescheduled day and are assessed per child. Fees are due upon scheduling the new camp week or day(s). Only serious injury and Covid-19 related illness/ quarantine will be considered for rescheduling without penalty. A doctor's note or proof of a positive Covid test is required. Finally, inclement weather, bumps/ cuts/ scrapes/ blisters/ etc., the number of boys/ girls or ages of boys/ girls in attendance at any given time are beyond our control and ARE NOT valid excuses for cancellation or rescheduling.

Return Check Policy:

Check payments returned by the bank due to insufficient funds will be assessed a $30 Returned Check Fee. The original payment amount and the additional $30 returned check fee will be due immediately when notified. However, if the check is returned unpaid after the registered camp week has begun, any previous discounts will be revoked and the late registration rate will then apply and is due immediately along with the additional $30 returned check fee. If we need to charge your credit card, an additional 3.95% convenience fee will automatically be added to the total amount due. No exceptions!
